The terrain is taken by a lane of araucarias that extends to the neighbors terrains, dissolving the strict character of the urban plot. A couple of philosophers with two children included in the program a library that should have independence and at the same time proximity to others uses.
The declivity of the terrain suggested an implantation of the house in the elevated level and, with a longitudinal volume, defined two different situations for the external areas: the first taken by the araucarias, maintaining the original configuration of vegetation and topography, and, in the opposite face, a constructed garden connected to the daily activities.
A central space with double high, where there are a balcony and a dinner room, divide the house in two blocks. It is crossed by a ground that marks a transversal axis to the house volume, relating the external areas of different functions. To this vertical balcony it still turns: the living room, the library and more two balconies at the superior floor. It is from these balconies, designed like a continuous space that the araucarias forest is completely saw.
At inferior level is located just the access (also used as a vehicles parking) and the guest’s bedroom that opens to the courtyard, involved by the concrete wall that leans the house and it fold in the frontal limit of the terrain.
